Ovrune playtest · Updated October 2, 2026
Ovrune is a browser game created by Legendaria Gaming. This page explains how the current playtest handles player information.
Accounts and sign-in
Supabase handles email and password sign-in, Google sign-in, and guest accounts. Email accounts use your email address and password to authenticate you. If you choose Google, Google shares your account identifier, email address, and basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture, with our sign-in service. These details identify your account and let you sign in. Ovrune does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, or contacts.
Existing playtesters can still use ChatGPT sign-in. Linking a new sign-in to an existing ranger stores the connection between those account identifiers so your progress stays with you.
Game information
The game stores your ranger name, account identifier, invitation redemption, gems, experience, equipment, chapter progress, game runs, forging results, and which update messages you have opened. Player profiles store your chosen cosmic portrait and color. Friend features store requests, accepted connections, private messages, and message read positions. Clan features store clan membership, roles, join requests, messages, and recent activity times. We use this information to run the game, save progress, manage access, and provide social features. Server features store your server membership and server chat messages.
What other players see
Other active playtesters can see your ranger name, portrait, player level, current unlocked chapter, and successful clear count through profiles and leaderboards. Friend requests and friend lists are visible to the players involved. Friends can see your online or last-seen status. Private friend conversations are accessible only to the two players while they remain mutual friends. Messages are stored by Ovrune and are not end-to-end encrypted. Clan members can see your ranger name, clan role, messages, and online or last-seen status. Public clan previews show clan names, tags, icons, membership type, member counts, and member names, portraits, ranks, levels, and chapter progress. Joining or leaving a clan creates a notice in its private clan chat. Server chat shows each sender’s current clan tag. Players in your server group (servers 1–10, 11–20, and so on) can see your server chat messages, ranger name, portrait, and server number. Your email address is not shown in clan chat or member lists. Avoid putting private information in your ranger name or messages.
Services used by Ovrune
Supabase processes account and sign-in information. Google processes sign-in when you choose Google. Resend delivers account verification and password-reset emails. OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare provide game hosting and storage. These services process the information needed to provide their part of the game, and may process technical connection information, such as IP addresses and security logs, under their own policies.
Browser storage
Ovrune uses sign-in cookies to remember your session and browser storage for settings such as reduced effects. Guest accounts depend on the session in your current browser. Clearing browser data can remove your ability to access an unlinked guest profile; it does not itself delete the saved game records. Save your guest profile by linking an account before changing devices or clearing browser data.
Retention and deletion requests
The playtest keeps account and game records to maintain profiles and saved progress. These records do not currently have an automatic expiration date. To request access to or deletion of your account and saved data, email support@ovrune.com. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you before acting on a request. Service providers may retain security logs or backups under their own retention policies.
Contact and changes
For privacy questions, contact support@ovrune.com. As the playtest changes, we will update this page and its date to describe changes in how the game handles information.
